Dear Homeschool Family,
May is an exciting time for homeschool families to come together and make our voices heard at the Louisiana State Capitol! This year’s Homeschool Capitol Day is happening on May 13, and we would love for your family to join us.
“Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.”
– Proverbs 27:17
Capitol Day is an incredible opportunity to meet your legislators, learn how government works, and stand united as a community committed to homeschooling and biblical values.
What You Can Do in May:
- Attend Homeschool Capitol Day – May 13:
Visit homeschoollouisiana.org to register and get all the details for this inspiring day. - Meet your legislators:
Put faces to names, build relationships, and thank them for supporting homeschool freedom. - Follow up with encouragement:
After the event, consider sending a note or email to your legislators to thank them for their time and service.
Being present and engaged sends a strong message that homeschooling families care deeply about the future of our state and the protection of our rights.
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.”
– Hebrews 10:24
We look forward to seeing you at the Capitol!
Soli Deo Gloria,
Jessie Leger
