Our Keynote Speaker will be
Kevin Swanson, Director of Generations

Kevin Swanson was homeschooled and with his wife, Brenda, are homeschooling parents of five and grandparents of six. Kevin serves as the Director of Generations – a ministry he founded to strengthen homeschool families around the country. He has written 30-40 books on homeschool vision, spoken at homeschool conferences, and hosted a daily radio program reaching tens of thousands of homeschooling families. As a father who wants to leave a godly heritage for his own five children, Kevin’s passion is to strengthen and encourage the homeschooling movement all over the world, and to cast a vision for generations to come.

Spouses and grandparents attend for free!
Registration is $75

Registration includes a hot, catered lunch for mom, dad and children under 5. Lunch is $8 for grandparents and $5 for children 5 and older. Students attending the Youth Program will receive lunch as part of the program.

FREE Pre-Conference Session

Kevin Swanson, our Keynote Speaker, will speak on the Topic, Education: You Should Try This at Home on Friday, March 22nd from 6-7pm at First Baptist Church in Hammond. This session is free and open to the public.

Ladies Session

There will be a special session just for ladies in the Vendor Hall during the last session of the day. It will be a special time of encouragement just for mothers, daughters and grandmothers.

Youth Program (Ages 11 & up)

Students ages 11 and up can attend the Youth Program during the conference. Fee is $25 per student Lunch is included. They will participate in:

  • Teen Pact 101 class, Teen Pact is a one or four day class held every spring in Baton Rouge to teach our youth about our government. teenpact.com
  • Art Class with Free Range Hippie
  • Science Experiment time
  • Game Time
  • Service Time.

Children at the Conference

Your children may attend the conference with you. They must stay with a parent at all times unless they are enrolled in the Youth Program. Please bring quiet toys (art supplies, books etc.) to entertain them during the sessions. Lunch for children ages 5 and up is $5 per child.

Accommodations

A discount rate of $132 a night is available at the Hampton Inn Hammond for Friday and Saturday night. Please call the hotel at 985-419-2188 to make a reservation. Ask for the Homeschool Louisiana rate. The cutoff date is March 8th.
